I like the way my umbrella looks. It adds some character to the table with its scallops. The color is vibrant and it blocks the sun well. We do not use the moveable part of the umbrella because it is not needed where our table is placed. I am not sure how waterproof it is because we have never had it out in the rain.Umbrella looks nice and covers perfectly for a 6 person table. Easy to move up and down. But our crank wouldn't work to close it back down once it was opened. I tried to return it but they had closed the window for returns at the 21 day mark versus the 30 days that had been stated!
