These are great little chairs for a patio, easy to assemble using power tools. Look great, and with some outdoor cushions I added, comfortable too. After a few weeks of occasional sitting, I noticed that the front legs at the bottom have started to chip/flake where they touch my patio, because they do not sit perfectly flat -- they are at a slight angle where they touch the ground and rest on the back edge of the wood. They flex very slightly when one sits in them, and that angle stresses the back surface. I've lost about 1 1/2" of painted wood there so far. It's not too visible unless you're looking in the right place. It's the only weakness (so far) in a very good chair. A slightly different cut on the bottom of the front legs would have solved this. If your chair's legs sit slightly off, like mine, and if you can put a rubbery caster under the front feet or are precise with a saw or sander, you could perhaps deal with this DIY-style.Overall, great chairs. Wood is a little on the thinner side, but do the job nicely. Easy to put together and sturdy to sit in, they’ve been a good addition to our patio. They are under a patio roof, and not exposed to the elements, or this review might be different as I don’t think the wood would hold up well after being exposed to the elements regularly. The wood is just too thin for that. One star off for some splintering of wood when putting in the screws on the side. We didn’t over-torque the screw and it still started to split in the same spot on both chairs.Overall nice chairs, just not viable for decades of use.I loved it, I just moved into a house from an apartment, and I was looking for patio furniture, and just saw this chair and fell in love with it immediately, I searched and decided to buy this one as it has the most positive reviews and good price, the good part is it came half assembled, so didn't take alot of time in assembly, it is easy to keep it as it can be folded and it looks beautiful in my patio tooAn update to my previous review. The Soliwood Customer Service team reached out to me and resolved the issue in very quick fashion. In doing so, almost everything I said about the dimensions became invalid. A factory loading issue, which makes perfect sense. About the only thing left is reiterate that it did go together easily enough and that it is indeed sturdy.Kudos to the Soliwood CS team for being all over this. Sadly, it's become a rare occurrence to be taken care of in a positive, proactive fashion. I'm impressed. The color of wood is very beautiful, looks natural n chair looks classy.They were arrived very well packaged. The instructions to assemble the chair are very easy to understand and its very easy to assemble too. It took 15-20 mins for me. One person can do it easily.This can be lovely addition to backyard(patio furniture)or balcony too. It's perfect for outdoor n for backyard too.It's solid wood Adirondack n easy to maintain. It's lighter weight than other traditional sized ones. Chair folding is easy.This chair is perfectly comfy for me .I like the design, they fold easily, and are comfortable to sit in. The stain looks a bit cheap, I will probably paint it. Takes about 45 minutes to put one together. Still, I like that it is wood, and the price was right. Do be careful about the weight limit - I'm 227 pounds the and chair creaks warnings at me.I really like the finished result. It took me a few hours to assemble the 2 chairs. It wasn’t as easy as what’s posted on the listing. I needed to borrow my father’s electric drill. I would highly recommend that you use an electric drill to put these together. It’s too difficult to do it without the electric drill. They seem pretty sturdy. I put a waterproof paste on them, so they can last a long time.As other reviewers mentioned, it is time consuming to assemble. The pieces are not marked very well and it’s easy to mix them up. I had to take it apart and reassemble a couple of times. It takes a lot of focus to assemble but it does all fit together quite nicely. Once it was assembled, it is very sturdy and attractive for a foldable chair. The arms are level and suitable for coffee or wine. My wife feels the chair is calling to her each morning. I gave it five stars for the value.Bought a pair last week and they arrived yesterday. The assembly process went pretty smoothly.
